Welcome to my website and thank you so much for dropping in!
I’m a German-born Nutrition and Health Coach and the voice, cook and photographer behind The Healthy Tart food blog.
Since 2013 I have been living and working in Dublin.
My recipes, which draw influences from all over the world are simple and healthy dishes.
On my blog, I share a wide range of recipes that cater to special dietary requirements,
such as gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, vegetarian and vegan.
After suffering from severe Candidiasis for more than 3 years I decided that something had to change.
I moved to Dublin, adopted a whole foods-based diet, eliminated refined sugar,
began practising yoga and started meditating for 10 minutes every morning.
It didn’t take long before I started to see a massive increase in my energy levels.
Encouraged by the quick results I decided to take it a step further
and introduced a roughly 80% plant-based diet into my already refined-sugar-free life.
Certainly, that doesn’t mean that I won’t have a cheat day once in a while,
but I realised that all those constant sugar and carb cravings were suddenly gone.
It amazes me how much my palette has changed since,
foods I used to like suddenly started to taste unbearably sweet.
The changes in my general wellbeing, skin and hair became that apparent
that people started asking me about what I was doing,
so I decided to share my experience with everyone.
I went back to college, where I qualified as a Nutrition and Health Coach.
Now, I help people gain the motivation, knowledge and practical skills to create healthier habits around food, eating and lifestyle.
I specialise in creating meal plans for special dietary requirements such as
digestive health issues, food intolerances, low energy, stress and weight management.
With a practical approach, I help you improve your food and lifestyle choices so that you can be your happiest and healthiest self.
